Trace PNG images into real vector paths you can scale and edit, right in your browser. Presets cover logos, posterized photos and line art, with controls for colors, smoothing and specks and a live side-by-side preview.
Drop PNG images on the page; JPG, WebP, GIF, BMP and HEIC work too.
Under Style, pick Logo, Photo or Line art, set Colors, and turn on Remove background if the corner color should become transparent.
Refine under Fine-tuning: Smoothing, Curve tolerance, Ignore specks, Tracing detail and Close hairline gaps. The preview retraces as you change them.
Compare the result Side by side or with the Slider, and set Size and Coordinate decimals under Output.
Click Download SVG or Copy SVG; with several images, use Convert all N to SVG (ZIP).
Real vector. The image is traced into filled paths with imagetracerjs, and the status line shows how many paths and colors it produced.
No. Tracing runs in a background worker in your browser, and the images never leave your device.
Turn on Remove background. It drops the color that fills the image corners, so a logo on a white or flat backdrop ends up on transparency. Line art does this by default.
Every color region and speck becomes a path. Lower Colors, raise Ignore specks or Curve tolerance, and reduce Coordinate decimals; the SVG Optimizer can shrink it further.
You can, but tracing turns a photo into a stylized poster rather than a faithful copy. It works best on logos, icons, flat illustrations, scans and signatures.
Tracing detail scales large images down to 600, 1000 or 1600 px before tracing, which is faster; Full traces every original pixel. Size only sets the finished SVG's dimensions, from 0.5× to 4× the original.
