Turn a set of images into an animated GIF without uploading them. Drag frames into order, give any frame its own delay, and add a boomerang loop or crossfades between images. The preview plays live while you change settings.
Drop your images on the page, or paste them with Ctrl+V. Add more later with the small drop area under the frames.
Drag the frame cards into order. Use Duplicate to repeat a frame, or type a delay on a card to hold that frame longer.
Under Timing, set the Frame delay in ms or FPS, choose Forever, Once or N times for Loop, and turn on Boomerang or Crossfade if you want them.
Under Size, pick a Width, an Aspect ratio and a Fit mode; under Colors, choose the Palette size, Palette and Dithering.
Click Create GIF, then Download to save animation.gif.
No. The frames are decoded and the GIF is encoded in your browser, so your images stay on your device.
Browsers play GIF delays under 20 ms more slowly than intended, so 20 ms (about 50 frames per second) is the minimum.
Choose a smaller Width, lower the Palette size to 64 or 32, switch Palette to Shared, and turn off Dithering for flat graphics. Crossfade adds in-between frames, so it makes the file larger.
Every frame is placed on a canvas set by Width and Aspect ratio. Fit whole image fills the leftover space with the Background color; Fill and crop fills the frame and trims the overflow. The GIF has no transparent areas.
Images are scaled down to at most 1200 px on their longer side. Original keeps the first image's size within that limit; the preset widths go from 320 to 800 px.
No. Each file becomes one frame, and an animated GIF contributes only its first frame. To turn a video clip into a GIF, use Video to GIF.
