Drop an image to split
Accepts JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, BMP, HEIC · You can also paste with Ctrl+V / ⌘V
Cut one image into equal tiles: a 3 × 3 Instagram profile puzzle, a seamless swipe carousel, or any grid up to 20 × 20. Tiles can be cropped to 1:1, 4:5 or 3:4, resized to a set width, and downloaded together as a ZIP.
Drop an image on the page, or paste it with Ctrl+V.
Pick a preset such as Carousel 4:5 or 3 × 3 grid, or choose Custom and set Rows and Columns.
Choose a Tile shape. For any shape other than As is, drag the highlighted area to choose the part that stays.
Optional: turn on Resize tiles and set the Tile width, then pick the File names style and a Format.
Click Split into N images to download every tile in a ZIP, or click a single tile to save just that one.
No. The tiles are cut and encoded in your browser, so the image never leaves your device.
In reverse: post the last tile first and tile 1 last, so the full picture lines up on your profile.
Carousel 4:5 and Carousel 1:1 cut the image into side-by-side slides, each 1080 px wide. Upload them in order in one carousel post and the picture flows across them as people swipe.
When the image doesn't divide evenly, tile edges are rounded so the tiles cover the image without gaps. Sizes differ by at most 1 px.
Each tile is encoded again: PNG is lossless, while JPG and WebP follow the Quality slider. Resize tiles can enlarge a small image, so turn it off to keep the original pixels.
Up to 20 rows and 20 columns, with at most 400 tiles in total.
