    How to use Join Audio

Combine several audio clips into one file in the order you choose. Trim each clip, put silence or a crossfade between them, match their loudness, and save as MP3, M4A, OGG, WAV or FLAC.

    1. 1

Drop two or more audio files on the page; the audio of MP4, MOV and MKV videos works too.

    2. 2

Drag the rows into order, or use Sort by name and Reverse order; click Trim clip to use only part of a clip.

    3. 3

Under Between clips, choose Back to back, Silence or Crossfade, and set its length.

    4. 4

Optionally turn on Match loudness and set Sample rate and Channels, choose the output format, click Join audio, then Download.

    Frequently asked questions

Can I join files with different formats and sample rates?

Yes. Every clip is converted to one sample rate and channel layout. Auto uses the best of your clips, or choose 44.1 kHz, 48 kHz, Mono or Stereo.

How long can a crossfade be?

Up to 30 seconds, but the overlap is capped at half of the shorter clip.

    What does Match loudness do?

It brings every clip to the same average level (RMS), so no clip is much quieter than the rest. Peaks are limited to −1 dB.

Will there be a gap between clips?

Not with Back to back. MP3 output also carries gapless information, so players do not add silence at the start or end.

    Are my files uploaded?

No. The clips are decoded and joined in your browser.
