Bring audio to a standard loudness in LUFS, measured the way Spotify, YouTube, Apple Music and broadcasters measure it. Choose a target such as −14 LUFS, set a true-peak ceiling, and normalize many files, or the soundtrack of videos, at once.
Drop audio or video files (MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC, OGG, MP4, MOV, MKV) on the page.
Pick a Target loudness preset, or Custom (−40 to −5 LUFS), and set the True-peak ceiling.
Compare the Before and After figures, and switch Listen to between Original and Normalized while it plays.
For videos, choose Keep video or Audio only; pick the output format, click Normalize, then Download.
Peak normalization only looks at the loudest sample. LUFS measures perceived loudness over the whole file (ITU-R BS.1770-4 / EBU R128), so files normalized to the same LUFS sound equally loud.
−14 LUFS for Spotify, YouTube and TikTok, −16 LUFS for Apple Music and podcasts, −23 LUFS for EBU R128 broadcast, and −24 LUFS for US TV (ATSC A/85).
If reaching it would need more than 6 dB of limiting, the tool stops earlier to avoid squashing the sound, and tells you the level it reached.
With Keep video, the picture is copied untouched and only the soundtrack is rewritten. Audio only saves just the normalized sound.
No. Loudness is measured and adjusted in your browser.
