    Frequently asked questions

Can I reverse only part of a file?

Yes. Choose Selection only; the highlighted part plays backward and the rest stays as it is. Each file keeps its own selection.

Can I check for hidden messages?

Yes. Reverse the file and listen to the preview before saving anything.

    Does reversing lower the quality?

The reversal itself is exact. Saving re-encodes the audio, which is lossless for WAV and FLAC and slightly lossy for MP3, M4A and OGG.

    Can I reverse a video?

No. This tool works on audio and saves audio files.

    Are my files uploaded?

No. Everything happens in your browser.
