Press play to preview, pick the output format, click Change pitch, then Download.

    Frequently asked questions

Does changing the pitch change the tempo?

No. The length stays the same; only the pitch moves.

    What are cents?

One semitone is 100 cents. Fine tune shifts by up to ±100 cents, for example to match an instrument that is slightly out of tune. The panel shows what A4 (440 Hz) becomes.

Does it work for minor keys?

Yes. The key change only counts the semitones between the two notes, so it works for major and minor alike.

Why does a large shift sound artificial?

Shifting by many semitones changes the character of voices and instruments. Smaller shifts of a few semitones sound most natural.

    Are my files uploaded?

No. Pitch shifting runs in your browser.
