    How to use Flip Video

Mirror a video horizontally, vertically or both. The frames are re-encoded so the flip shows in every player, and the audio is copied unchanged.

    1. 1

Drop a video on the page.

    2. 2

Choose Horizontal (mirror left and right), Vertical (mirror top and bottom) or Both.

    3. 3

      Optionally pick an output Format.

    4. 4

      Click Flip video, then Download.

    Frequently asked questions

How do I fix a mirrored selfie video?

Choose Horizontal. Text and logos that appeared reversed will read correctly again.

What is the difference between Flip and Rotate?

Flipping makes a mirror image. Both is the same as turning 180°; for 90° turns use Rotate Video.

    Does flipping lower quality?

The video is re-encoded, which is lossy but barely visible. The sound is copied unchanged.

    Is my video uploaded?

No. It is processed in your browser. Files your browser cannot decode are handled by ffmpeg, which downloads once (about 32 MB) and is slower.
