Accepts MP4, MOV, WebM, MKV · You can also paste with Ctrl+V / ⌘V
Cut a video down to the part you want, right in the browser. Untouched frames are copied without re-encoding, so quality stays the same and long clips finish quickly; only the frames around each cut are re-encoded so the cut lands exactly where you set it.
Drop a video (MP4, MOV, WebM or MKV) on the page.
Drag the blue handles on the filmstrip, or type Start and End times such as 1:23.5.
Press Space to play the selection, and press I or O to set the start or end at the playhead.
Optionally pick an output Format, then click Trim video and Download the result.
Almost nothing is re-encoded. Frames between the cuts are copied as they are; only the few frames around each cut point are encoded again.
Times can be entered to a hundredth of a second, and the arrow keys move a selected handle by 0.1 s (1 s with Shift). The cut is placed at the frame you choose, not at the nearest keyframe.
This tool keeps one continuous range. To drop a middle part, trim the parts before and after it separately and join them with Merge Videos.
No. The video is read and written in your browser and never leaves your device.
Yes. Keep format saves in the original container; MP4, WEBM, MOV and MKV are also available.
There is no fixed limit, but the trimmed file is assembled in memory, so very large videos depend on how much RAM your device has.
